Do you know the age of your water heater?  As a rule, if a water heater is fifteen years or less it not uncommon to have "small leaks", but heaters that are over fifteen years old have the potential of having a "major leak".  Depending on the location of your water heater, the garage, closet space in home, attic or crawl space, this may be a BIG problem and cost over thousands to fix.

Toilets - have you noticed color changes around the base of your toilet or does your toilet start refilling for no apparent reason?  This could be caused by a leaking wax ring, if that is not replaced promptly it could cause major damage to the subflooring, floor covering and possibly the ceiling/insulation below.

Leaky faucets?  They don't just stop leaking on their own; they usually continue to get worse.
